📢 Android is HERE!
After a few months of hard work, Jase and I are thrilled to announce ExploreHere 4.0, our biggest release yet! We’ve rebuilt the core of the app to be faster, smoother, and more reliable across the board. Whether you're an Android adventurer or an iPhone history buff, this update is for you.
Our iOS version has always been a bit ahead. While the iOS app has solid ratings and positive reviews, Android users have had… a rougher time. From sluggish performance to weird bugs like double characters while typing, it was time for some improvements.
ExploreHere 4.0 changes all of that.
We want Android users to love the app just as much as iOS users do, and we’re finally delivering on that.
ExploreHere was built on the belief that history should be open and accessible to everyone. Until now, key features like filtering, nearby markers, and tours were locked behind a paywall. That didn’t sit right with us. So, we’ve unlocked them for everyone. You can now:
The app is still 100% free to download and use. We’ve reduced the number of paywalled features and plan to reduce this even more soon.

We've got over 200k historical markers all over the world, but, theres so many more out there! We now support user-submitted historical markers! There are so many amazing stories out there that aren’t yet on the map. Submitting is easy:
